Abstract

Penelitian ini mengatasi permasalahan ketidaksesuaian antara Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) dan implementasi aktual pada aktivitas penerimaan barang di gudang material PT TJ. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi kesenjangan prosedural yang menyebabkan inefisiensi dan keterlambatan dalam proses administrasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif komparatif dengan pendekatan Business Process Management (BPM) yang mencakup tahapan Process Identification, Process Discovery, Process Analysis, dan Process Redesign. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dengan personel gudang, serta analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 78% aktivitas (7 dari 9) proses aktual tidak tercantum dalam SOP, menyebabkan ketidakkonsistenan dan keterlambatan waktu hingga 30 menit terutama bagi personel baru. Usulan perbaikan meliputi integrasi aktivitas pemeriksaan kendaraan dan pelabelan, serta penyusunan instruksi kerja berbasis narasi dan diagram alir untuk memperjelas proses administrasi. Implementasi usulan ini diproyeksikan dapat mengurangi waktu administrasi sekitar 30–40%, meningkatkan konsistensi prosedur, serta efisiensi operasional. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengelolaan gudang bahan baku di industri plastik Indonesia dengan model perbaikan prosedur yang terukur dan berbasis teori BPM.
